1998 Ford Windstar GL review from North America
"My car is the worst car ever. Always in the shop!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I own a 1998 ford windstar. I bought the van thinking that it was rated one of the safest van out there. I have 2 children and this car was a good idea. Yea right!! I just found out today that my engine is gone. The bearings have let go and the lifter. This is the first bran new car we have ever owned. I am so bummed about this car. Not to metion that it hs 14 recalls on it, it has been in the shop for new tie rods, a tune up (which I needed at 25,000) weird, and so may things. I saved all the paper work from everything that needed to be done. Even the machianic felt bad for me. I will never ever buy a Ford car again. I am so upset. I now have no car at all because I cannot afford to get an egine for it at 5,000.00. I guess it is back to bumming rides off people. Thanks Ford for not holding up to your own cars. never agian!!!
General comments?
I totally would not tell anyone to, but this car or any other ford.
