1998 Ford Windstar LX review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I think I solved the interior light problem with windstars!!! everyone keeps replacing the door sensors to no avail. My door chimes, interior lights would go crazy at any time with the doors closed. I checked the door sensoes, they were OK, SO HERE IS WHAT FIXED IT1 On the sliding doors, there is a electrical contact pad on the jamb and pogo pins in the door that that make contact with the pad. I lightly sanded the oxidation off the pads and the pins with 400 grit paper and my problem went away! GOOD LUCK.
