1999 Ford Windstar sel review from North America
"Junk< ford windstar-sel/ don't buy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 40,000 miles transmission went and had to spend thousands for new rebuilt transmission. Now, undercarriage went out, both axels. And just last week after all undercarriage fixed and axel, now I find out that there is a crack in the manifold and needed to be replaced.
General comments?
Piece of crap... Stay away from Ford, I have talked too many who have the same make year and model of this Ford Windstar and all have had transmission rebuilds, and Ford won't do a recall on their defective material. Stay away from Ford.
