1994 Geo Metro review from North America
"I would buy another piece of crap Metro, that's my opinion. I hate the car is only for gas mileage"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem I had was a bad alternator about four years ago.
The car is a speed with a 3 banger, still driving on the original tires and brakes.
The other thing I changed was the muffler to a two chamber Flowmaster, not because I had to; I replaced it to get more power and better gas mileage.
And with just changing the muffler, I got so much more horsepower and 10 more miles per gallon from stock.
General comments?
I dropped the car 2 inches front and back. Just doing that, the car handles pretty close to my 85 Corvette, no lie, because I do all the work myself, and that includes welding the Flowmaster in place.
But the clear coat is gone, and all the plastic is falling apart, and the seam across the passenger seat, the stitches came out. Other than the one seat, the rest of them are in great shape.
