1998 Geo Metro LSI Sedan review from North America
"Engine is more powerful and quick than you might think"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing to date.
General comments?
Car has surprised me quite a bit, I has much more power than my previous Metro. It also seems to handle better. I was quite surprised last night when I was coming back from the store a Ford ZX2 pulled up beside me at the redlight reving its engine.. I don't know what I was thinking but I floored the Metro and at first the ZX2 took off about a car lengths space, the next thing I knew the Metro caught its moment and it was on, for the next four miles we were racing head to head at speeds of 85-90mph. Finally, I guess out of embarassment, the other guy turned off. I couldn't believe this little 1.3 engine was running with a 2.0 Zetec, but it was. I have new respect for this car.
