1993 Geo Metro GSi review from North America

So far since I've bought this very rare car all I've done to it has been replaced all 4 wheel bearings. They seemed to go on right after another.

Driver side window has come off the track twice, but is easy to fix.

The exhaust came off the manifold a few times when I first bought it, but just stopped after fixing it a few times.

The brakes are starting to go, but what can you expect after sitting for a year?

Just to clarify first thing that the Geo Metro GSi is a 4 cyl not a 3 cyl. I bought this very rare car for $1200 Canadian last November from a man who bought it for his daughter who ended up not wanting the car so it sat in a barn for about a year. Since I've bought it nothing major has gone wrong, just the stuff you'd expect from a car that sat for a year, wheel bearings and brakes and tires. This car is actually quite the performer. It will keep nose to nose with most Civic (not Vtecs). It gets a lot of looks on the highway too with plenty of passing power. I recently found out its governed after a road race with a newer style Z24. It was a fair, equal race. The speedometer stops at 150 km/h and I was far passed that. I'd say 170-180 km/h. Without a governor who knows what you could accomplish.

If you can get your hands on a GSi for a reasonable price than I wouldn't pass it by. They are the funnest. And very sharp with the cool hubcaps and rear spoiler.
