1991 Geo Metro LSi review from Japan
"A sharp looking car that delivers maximum value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wiper switch would not turn off once intermittent mode was selected. (Ordered replacement switch for under $100 USD and installed it myself).
General comments?
This is an ultra-reliable daily driver!
It consistently gets 30 MPG in stop and go traffic, and 40+ miles per gallon on a trip.
People still admire it and ask what brand of vehicle it is (the convertible was discontinued in 1996).
The interior is more noisy at highway
speeds due to no liner in convertible top.
It parks in city parking spaces that other cars have to ignore.
Overall, it is an exceptional value for the money (I paid $1000USD for mine).
