General comments?
I have the 1997 Geo Metro Lsi Hatchback, 1.3 L manual transmission.
The car is peppy. Considering its small engine it is not far from the pep of my other sports car-Toyota MR2, Mitsubishi VR4, Mercedes SLC and Firebird.
The cargo capability of the hatchback is huge when back seat is folded down.
Gas mileage is great. 35-40 miles per gallon in the city and up to 50 miles per gallon in the highway.
I change the oil every 10,000 miles and tuned it up only once.
It so versatile. I use it for daily commute, have used it for long commute during vacations, used to carry big stuff like my pick-up truck and used it for camping. The front seats recline well, better than my other bigger cars and this very convenient in resting in rest areas during long trips.
I have converted it to All-Wheel Drive and runs well in snow.
I have owned over 30 cars and still have 19, but my favorite is this purple Geo Metro Hatchback. I dressed up the interior like my limousine. I love this car and planning to keep it forever. If I have to keep only one car, this is it-My 1997 Geo Metro Hatchback Lsi.
