If point A to point B is your only concern, then the Tracker is a capable means of transport.
Loudest car I've ever been in. Using a cell phone is nearly impossible.
The lack of power steering requires two hands when moving slowly (e.g. parking).
Handles like a Conestoga Wagon, only not as comfortable. It is as if shocks were deemed unnecessary. I personally feel that an infant would suffer possible brain injury due to the jarring experienced while driving.
It is, however, a Geo Tracker. You pay for what you get: A horrendously uncomfortable ride in an uninspiring design, by an unoriginal company.
Hello I just wanted to state that I also have a Geo Tracker and a two year old daughter and we don't have any problems with ours. I can hear everyone just fine on my cell phone when the top is properly placed back on. Also maybe your shocks are worn out because my little Tracker rides very nice. I love it and the very original company it came from. If you don't like it sell it to someone who does and stop complaining.
I have a tracker 1994 lsi with 70,000. miles on it and nothing has gone wrong its one of the best cars I have had drives great in the snow and cool in the summer mine does have power stearing and air.
I drive a 1994 Geo Tracker 2WD 8v 1.6L approaching 200,000 miles now. Sure the ride is a little harsh, it is a micro SUV on a ladder frame, DUH. This is the most reliable and inexpensive to operate vehicle I have ever owned. When I do eventually wear this one out beyond repair, I'll buy another. FYI, it's really a Suzuki in case you didn't know that already.
