1995 Geo Tracker standard review from North America

The signals in the steering colum caught fire.

The A/c broke twice (this is my moms car I don't care for A/c) the a/c uses to much gas anaway.

The timing had to be adjusted a few times.

Check engine light seems to go on every 25 thousand miles most recently when it hit 170000.

The locking hubs rusted out the passander side was replaced, but the drivers side I need a pair of pliers to put in lock mode.

Last winter the oil pan had to be replaced.

In its whole life its been give 2 tune ups and its easy to do yourself.

The back cargo door rusted shut.

Bolth driver and passanger windows slide foward when rolling up and requires an extra hand to hold them in place.

Besides changing the oil every three thousand miles that was everything that was done to the car and I changed the tranny fluid for the first time this spring, because it shifts funky. It did not help much. when its cold it shifts harder and gets eaier when its warmer. in the winter I can barely get into first gear, but I'm not complaining because the clutch has never been replaced and people are telling me the throwout bearing is probably shot.

It is on its third set of tires the set it came with from the dealership lasted 72k the second were cooper discovery got 88k got new tires about a month ago.

The steering is realitively eays considering it does not have power steering.

It rides bouncey and has a lot of body roll, but maybe because its the original shocks.

The soft top is pretty much shot it doesn't look bad, but leaks alittle in the back.

This thing is good offroading, very dependable and has never broke down on me or my mom.

I'm 17 this is the best car a 4wd convertable that gets 27mpg.

Its pretty fast off the line, but isn't a sports car the car feels safe under 70mph anything over and it sounds like your in a wind tunnel and the car feels like if a gust of wind comes it will blow you off the road.

The speedo makes a lot of noise and is louder when its colder its been doing it for years.

The car screams at highway speeds 3500rpm at 65mph.

They say the car has ABS, but I locked up the rear tires before.

The finish on the car looks good mines aqua blue and some people think I got it repainted.
