Broken snap on top roll bar for convertible top.
Possible fuel system problem right now. We are just taking to garage because we can't figure out what the problem is.
Tick, tick, tick noise coming from odometer area. Possible speedometer cable going out.
This is my second Geo Tracker.
I love them and hated to see the new Chevy version of them. I think they did an injustice to the Tracker and I will not buy another one because of the new look. I love the old look.
All though it is a convertible I stay way warm with the great heater it has. works better and faster than the one in my Dodge Ram.
I love being able to fold the back seat up and have some cargo room. My daughter also loves to ride back there to sleep when we go on trips.
I love being able to parallel park and turn around just about anywhere easily.
I have a wave-runner and my daughter and I go to the river a lot. The tracker pulls it just fine. Don't even have to use the 4 wheel drive to pull it up the steep inclines. My daughter calls it a jeepwater.
I just wish I could put a lift on it. Then my tracker would be my perfect little car.
From the reviews and comments I've seen, the Sidekick seems to be the evil twin of these two SUVs. I had a Sidekick convertible, and my transmission started to go out before 90K and probably would have gone sooner had my A/C been working, for it seems that other Sidekick owners have had problems with the transmission when the A/C was on. I got so attached to how I could be up and able to see the road better while still being able to pull into an angled parking spot going the wrong way that I really miss my Sidekick, but I think I'm going to try out a Tracker!
