1990 Geo Tracker JX review from North America
"Fun, reliable, and cheap!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both window cranks on my 2 door have broken as a result of 4 wheeling. I looked at the crank assembly and it is a cheesey cable and pully system. I could not figure out how to fix it and didn't know if it was worth fixing. It would probably break again.
I also had to replace a thermostat, that's it.
General comments?
I love my Tracker! I have put larger tires and lift to it. The factory front drive and steering system isn't really designed for this, but, it has held together. This thing is pretty impressive off road. I can climb at 55% with 31" tires.
