1996 Geo Tracker 4 Door 4X4 review from North America
"I like it, but would prefer an automatic"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
From day one, it has been very hard to shift into 1st gear. Had the entire mechanism replaced, but problem reoccured.
Cigarette lighter is tempermental.
Over head light erraric.
The quality of the speakers is poor.
On days below 50 degrees, the belts all make noises.
General comments?
The car is dependable.
It drives best between 45 and 65 MPH.
The pick-up is slow.
The wind blows the car all over the road.
Great heater and air conditioning.
Excellent radio reception. It picks up everything. Picked up Colorado, Vancouver BC and California stations clearly in Seattle.
