1996 Geo Tracker review from North America
"Well built, great car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 53000 the clutch went out. Had a friend put one in for $200. No problem since, that was 100,000 miles ago. The AC isn't quite as cold as it used to be; serviced once about 3 years ago. That's it. I changed out the timing belt once at 76K, repacked wheel bearings, flushed radiator 3 times, oil/filter every 3000, air filter twice. Still getting 29 miles to the gallon. The belts are starting to slip though, so I will be replacing this month, and looking at replacing timing belt next month. What else could you ask for?
General comments?
Handles great. I'm passing it down to my son going to college.
