1990 Geo Tracker LSI 2 Door 4X4 review from North America

I am the 14th owner it was totaled out and sitting in the scrapped yard before I bought it. However the body is in still great shape a small dent in the inner fender-well of the driver side front tire. Also some rust on the lower section of the doors. I changed the air filter because it was nasty and also had peanut shells in it from mice that lived it in while it was in the junk yard. I add brake fluid once a week because the master cylinder is bad. Both front wheel barrings, rotors, and brakes were shot, not to mentions the shocks where so bad that when you went over a railroad track you bounced for 3 minutes. The exhaust fell off in pieces in a matter of a few months. Toss in a set of new tires with a total cost with labor I invested $800.00.

It's great on gasoline while everyone at the gas station is shelling out $40 and $50 I top off the tank around $15 it lasts me 220 miles.

However the main reason I bought it was for the winter and it proved itself. One snow fall dropped over 20 inches of snow while everyone was shoveling themselves out of their driveways I locked it into 4 high and with my studded snow tires on the back I was unstoppable. It really impressed me.

They may look small, but you can stuff a lot of stuff in them. You might not be able to fit 20 of your friends in them, but you can fit 3 people and 4 80lb pumpkins and still have room to drive comfortably.
