1976 GMC Pickup K20 review from North America
"Unstoppable.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This was a hot rodded mud truck with a 454 big block with a th400 tranny. What went wrong...
2 front Dana 44 axle shafts (big heavy trucks don't like 37 inch tires on 1/2 ton rated axles).
1 transfer case due to slippage from age and abuse.
The old cassette player ate a tape, so I replaced it with a Sony CD player and big 6x9 speakers.
General comments?
It was a joy to drive.
It was fast, would light the 37 tsl mud tires up with ease, and once I put 33s on it, I never broke anything.
