1998 GMC S-15 SLS review from North America

Before the vehicle had 2,000 miles, the engine had been pulled to repair a oil leak, before the vehicle had 5,000 miles the engine had been pulled again to repair the same problem, then a few thousand miles later the engine had to be pulled again for the same problem.

The converter had to be changed, the recline handles on the seats have been replaced several times and are broken again at this time.

I had to have the exhaust changed early.

Received a notice about the manifold breaking down causing problems with the converter and exhaust, only my truck was 600 miles past the recall.

This truck has left me broken down beside the road more times than I care to think about.

At this time it is in the shop because the started went out, the mechanic said he had never seen anything like that, the front of the starter had blew off.

This vehicle gets great gas mileage, the interior is of great quality except for the recline handles, after 7 years it's in great shape both inside and out.

The running part is another store, for 7 years I have had this truck on a rollback so many times that I get sick to my stomach if I think about driving it out of town.
