2007 GMC Sierra GMC 2500 HD 4x4 review from North America
"It has plenty of power!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This is the best truck I have ever owned! The word is power, power, power and MORE power! My last truck was a 1999 Chevrolet 1 ton single rear wheel 4x4 with a 454..good truck, but not even close to my new GMC in power and torque. I have a 12,000 pound bumper pull trailer I used with my old truck and it is way to small for the gmc with the duramax.
I had to buy a gooseneck 8 wheel heavy duty trailer! I have loaded two John Deere 4020 tractors on the new trailer AT THE SAME TIME... For you people that know nothing about tractors the two tractors weigh about 18,000 pounds when loaded! The truck has no trouble pulling the load... with power to spare! The truck also has the allison transmission and it shifts like an 18 wheeler when under load... it really is amazing. The extra $7,500 for the allison trans and duramax engine is well worth it!
I have a friend that has a 2004 chevy with the duramax and he has over 180,000 of trouble free miles on his. Very good trucks!! Spend the extra money... avoid the 6.0 litre engine and get the diesel.
