2001 GMC Sierra review from North America
"Again, GMC comes through"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
4x4 light came on at 190000km.
Had to replace the brake pads at 200000km.
General comments?
The truck has had some 4x4 problems, but mostly due to the fact I'm 16, and off-roading quite a lot.
I was quite surprised at the towing power, and just the general acceleration of the truck. The truck has been put in towing events, (Truck Of War) and with it being 100% stock, has blown a lot of the competition out of the water. The truck has been used to pull many friends out of the ditch.
The truck is very stylish, it's a midnight black with chrome all the way around. The best thing you can do for your truck is to get LED/custom taillights and headlights. For 250$ you can make your truck look a lot more sleek.
I would suggest buying this truck. The only thing I EVER see wrong with it is the fact that it gets 13-14mpg.
