2003 GMC Sierra review from North America
"Pending"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Service 4WD light came on at 10,000 miles. Noticeable noise when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. clanking. No problems found at dealer.
Service 4WD light came on at 12,000. Noticeable noise when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. clanking. Dealer replace U joint in drive-shaft with one made from nichol???. No problem found on 4WD.
4WD switches stopped functioning properly at 15,000 miles. Would not go from 4WD to 2WD without going through the automatic button. Dealer replaced 3 switches before getting it right.
Air noise and leaking rear two windows and around front passenger door frame.
Bumping in steering column when turning.
Noticeable noise when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. clanking. Also now at times when it downshifts when stopping. 23,000 miles. Awaiting appointment to fix air leaks / noise. Steering column is on service alert and national backorder. Clanking on the shift between 2-3 still no problem found. Must be "normal".
General comments?
I am becoming concerned! Especially with noise on the shift. Fear it will become something majot after warranty expires.
