This is the absolute worst car I've ever owned. It will traded in very shortly for a new Toyota Tacoma.
I'm amazed at how many problems I've had with this vehicle. I've always owned foreign vehicles before this, but I wanted to "buy American" this time. Wow, what a mistake... never again.
Come on, don't outrule ALL american cars! F Series is the best selling truck, it must be good then! PLUS, GM Quality has fixed since 2000 after they got a major wake up call when their sales started slipping. Check out the new Sierra and Silverado, they are all redesigned and are WAY better than Toyotas, COME ON, TOYOTA DOES NOT MAKE GOOD TRUCKS, THEY MAKE GOOD ECONO SEDANS!
I currently own a 2001 GM car and a 2003 GMC Envoy. Both are close to 60,000 miles and neither has ever had a single problem of any kind. My family members also own Ford Rangers and F-150's. None of them has ever had a single problem either. My last Ranger went well over 60,000 miles before I traded it, and it never had so much as a brake job. In fact, It had a TOTAL of ONE BATTERY and ONE SET OF TIRES replaced. That's it. On the other hand, our 2 imports were NOTHING but TROUBLE. They cost more in repairs than all 30 or so of our domestic vehicles COMBINED. I know current domestics are even more reliable than those built in earlier years. I'd think long and hard before buying a more poorly made import over a solid, well-built Ford, Chevy or Dodge truck.
