1992 GMC Sonoma SLE Club Coupe 4x4 review from North America

Both power windows will not work.

Radio does not work.

Hinges on driver door are worn out.

Middle console broken.

Bad paint from the factory.

The truck was the top of the line model in 1992, 4x4, SLE with power everything along with all the bells and whistles. Has the shift on the fly push button 4 wheel drive.

I purchased it new in 1992, and still have the truck and use it as a "spare" and for hunting. The truck is tough as nails!!!

It has the "W" code 4.3 V6 and came with a towing package, along with the "new venture gear 3500 5 speed tranny" (same one that put in the Sierra and Silverado)... the truck came from the factory with locking differentials and is IMPOSSIBLE to get stuck unless you hang up the bottom... it will really haul butt in the mud!!!

When new, the truck was "forest green metallic" in color, but now the paint has faded so bad it looks like an army truck painted dull green.

I have had two other GMC trucks since this one, and have never had the heart to trade it since it was such a good truck. My daily driver is a 2006 GMC Sierra 2 wheel drive regular cab with the 5.3.

My Sonoma is not pretty, some days she runs a little rough... but compared to other trucks I have owned it is a great truck... Her name is "THE LITTLE B******"... respect her!!
