1995 GMC Sonoma SLS review from North America
"Yet another fine piece of American engineering"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel pump gave way the same summer I finished my last semester of college.
EGR valve got clogged by carbon deposits causing it to idle real rough.
Water pump leaked.
Old fuel filter.
Vacuum hose leaked air.
Oil/coolant lines leaked.
General comments?
For an older V6 engine, it performs really well on and off the highway. The ponies and torque never failed me
Despite the few problems, it runs and handles like a top, and the new tires have helped quite a bit with the handling part.
