1997 GMC Sonoma SLS review from North America
"A get up and go truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Before I bought this truck off of my friend, he replace the coil pack.
At 102000 I had to replace the head gasket.
At 103090 I had to replace the stock clutch with a Center-force Dual Friction Clutch because the Stock one was toast.
Other than those three things, Everything else is basically stock.
General comments?
I am very happy with my 1997 GMC Sonoma SLS, Although I had to put some money into it, it was worth it because right now I have a decent truck to run around in since I'm only 16. I also race it and it gets up and goes with a few mods that I have put into it like a K&N Cold Air Intake, Gibson Split Rear Exhaust, Centerforce Clutch, and Plug Wires. I also threw on a body kit and after market rims that my friend use to have on it and the truck looks great.
