2000 GMC Suburban SLT review from North America
"Can't beat the looks, size and relative fuel economy (blows the Excursion away)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power seat motor started to make a lot of noise at 65k. GMC replaced it at no charge to me under the extended warranty.
General comments?
Overall, this vehicle has been wonderful! It is spacious, drives and turns like a car, has excellent gas mileage for such a hefty truck, and is beautiful!
I've heard a lot of negative things about GMC, but I've had noting, but GREAT experiences - even when the truck was in th dealer for minor repairs (all of which have been covered by the extended warranty.) The dealer even gave me a free loaner van while my Yukon was being worked on!
I am just now replacing the brake pads after 45,000 miles and we do a lot of mountain driving!
The tight turn radius is miraculous! I can U-Turn on a two lane road without having to back up!
Great truck - get the extended warranty though. It's worth every penny!
