2000 GMC Van review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Service traction action light has been a problem from day one.
Replaced tires a 20,000 miles
had TY rods replaced a 50,000 miles as they were ready to brake.
Brakes squeak had them replaced 3 times and still squeak.
ABS light and traction action light on again.
Rear windshield washer pump went out.
Now the motor cuts out when you pull out from a stop sign or try to pick up speed acts like you ran out of gas.
Gas tank says you have 1/4 of a tank of gas driving along and the low fuel light comes on within 10 sec. you have a full tank of gas. I really wish it was that easy and cheap to fill the gas tank. I really wounder if GM has something in the van to make thing go wrong afters 90,000 miles if so ha ha I have the extended warranty. not sure how much the last items will cost (gas tank ABS, traction action, rear washer pump, and the transmission. but I'm sure it will be cheaper than if I didn't have it.
Over all the van has been great the most of my problems have started after 90,000 miles and of course the month it was paid off.
