1993 Holden Commodore VR review from Australia and New Zealand

When I first brought the car I was impressed on how good the condition of the car was, the Interior and exterior of the car was in ship shape condition, even m machanic was impressed the cars motor checked out was and everything, and he is not a easily impressed person (he's into Fords rather than Holdens).

But when I brought the car home and drove it for a further year, I was very happy to know that I had made a good dicision for my second car (even though it was only one year, but since then to now (six years later), nothing at all has gone wrong with it besides a flat battery, the beeper in the steering wheel was broken (loose wire that I fixed myself), the left hand electric mirror on it that didn't go left or right (due to a cable that was loose that I also fixed myself) and tyres that I needed when I brought it (that still lasted me for nine months until I could afford to buy four more), but besides for that there has never been a problem with the car so far.

Maybe I just got lucky and found a car that was well looked after before me instead of being thrashed each day by idiots, but with what I havelearnt from driving the car for the last six months it is the best car I have ever had before in my life and I will never get rid of it.

Of what I know it is a great first car and even a car for anyone who wishes to have a good reliable car for the future.

The carhas a responsive braking and acceleration system and has remarkable steering and not just that, it can go, it has a lot of grunt in it that will have you notice within the first few seconds of driving it especially for taking off from the mark.

Excellent car for anyone.
