1999 Holden Vectra GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Best Car Holden never built!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None.
General comments?
I had 5 V8's before I bought this car and I love it. It pulls extremely well off the mark and cruises effortlessly at 100 clicks. I would not consider it for towing anything, but as a highway car, which is what I use it for, it is excellent. For overtaking, economy, and reliability its fantastic. You won't fit more than two adults comfortably in the back, but it is a small car not a big six. I had a VR Commodore V8 before I bought this and far prefer my little Vectra for performance and handling, especially cornering and cruising. It will find an extra 30 to 40 ks over the speed limit for overtaking in a flash and has really surprised some of my V8 driving mates at its pulling power off the the mark. It's a little rocket!!!
