1999 Holden Vectra JSII review from Australia and New Zealand
"Well built, but possibly not suited to the hot weather"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In the heat of Sydney's recent summer I had problems with the car stalling while driving - fixed at a cost of $600 two sensors needed replacing.
Now the automatic transmission is playing up. It won't automatically go into gear after stopped. It should do so when you take your foot off the brake. I have had it serviced, but it's still the same. I wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with the vectra (opel or holden)?
General comments?
I used to drive a ford laser (87 model) and so found the vectra remarkably responsive and smooth to drive. I love it, but if something goes wrong it's very costly to fix.
