My A/C went out back in 2005, and the dealer said it would cost around $1000 to repair. Fortunately I live in Michigan and it's not too horrible to deal with.

Unfortunatley, that same month the motor in my driver's door for the automatic window died. I pulled it apart and the tracks for the glass stuck so bad that the motor fried... so now that window's permanently closed. The other 3 and the moonroof open all the way though ;-

I managed to rip the door handle off of my driver's door as well, becuase I always rest my left arm on the door and the power lock... which locks all of the doors. I would constantly forget this and would pull the handle to climb out of my car when I'd park without remembering that the car was locked. Eventaully I just ripped it right off!!

The heat still works great, and the defroster works fine... and if there's a decent wind in the summer the fan will blow in the cool air.

I currently need to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system from the manifold all the way back to the chrome tips. I'm not unhappy with this though, because the michigan winters are REALLY HARD with all of the SALT. After 250K+ miles, I would think that it would be about time to replace all of the ORIGINAL exhaust parts.

This car is extremely reliable. Time weathers/rusts/wears all of the the parts that are replaced regularly anyway, but the engine is still strong.

I've checked around and it seems that others have the same problems with their front tires' wheel bearings. I've replaced a few ball joints, half-axles, and control arms.

However, it still get's great mileage, the repair costs each time are generally mild, and I know I can count on diriving this car anywhere I need to.

Oh yeah, the 27mpg is a great help still too!
