1986 Honda Accord LX review from Trinidad and Tobago
"After changing three cars, this one is "irreplaceable""
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Suspension a bit noisy.
Interior needed to be redone.
Speedometer cable broke.
Right front door glass goes up short by 1 inch approx. then gear slips loudly.
When shifting gears upward and gearing down, third gear makes a short grating sound.
Gearbox makes howling sound when driving with fifth gear engaged.
When braking from approx. 70- 80 km/h front of car vibrates heavily.
General comments?
This car sits on corners at almost any speed.
The classiest low profile car I've owned.
When parts are changed you're sure to get a few more years service from this car.
This car runs like a devil and stays on the road.
Parts are a little difficult to source, and a bit expensive, but I'm not letting go this one.
