1995 Honda Accord VTi review from Australia and New Zealand
"Extreme reliability coupled with amazing performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Slight rattle in the dashboard.
Timing belt changed at 75000 (before I had it, so I'm not sure why)
General comments?
This car is fantastic, a great investment.
I had been looking for a 94-95 Honda for quite sometime, but it was only when I actually finally purchased one that I realised just how good they are. It may be true that parts and servicing for Honda's are a little more than other manufacturers, the fact that you simply don't need to service or fix the Accord very often at all completely outweighs any financial concerns.
As I constantly tell people, my Accord has the "zippyness", handling and looks of a sports car, the interior space of a family car, and the boot size of a four wheel drive! Plus it sounds fantastic. The VTEC engine handles anything I try to do to it with ease. These cars are just amazing.
For anyone considering purchasing a 94-97 Honda Accord, ignore any negative comments you have heard about it and buy one already! You won't regret it in the slightest!
