1989 Honda Accord EX-I review from North America
"All I can say is rust rocket I love this car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well not much really wrong with it other put it into second it tends to jerk a little that's probably cause I tend to red line it before I shift.. like a sports car should be treated. The reverse doesn't work, but its not a overly heavy car so pushing it isn't a problem even tho some shmuck at the transmission shop it could cost anywhere for 850 to 1500 for a used... USED transmission well that's a load of bull cause I can pick one out of pick and pull for 80 bucks and get my friends dad to install it for 200 bucks.
General comments?
Now as for the good stuff about this car.. its quick off the line heck I BAG on this thing and I only paid 300 bucks for it.. its reliable and no signs of dying.. and I plan on doing the exhaust once the transmission is fixed.. -_- kinda need reverse.
Interior wise.. I love it.. my friend complains cause its so small, but I'm a small guy its just perfect for me. the trunk space is excellent.
Gas wise its insane from Calgary to Kelowna it got me there on HALF a tank.. I just popped it into 5th on the hwy and I was barely touching the gas and she was idling at 100kph.. I loved it.
