"Great car, crappy customer service"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

-Hard starts while cold- recent problem.

-Tranny bangs,jerks, slips untill car is driven for a distance- started about 10,000 miles ago.

First off I understand that every car company has a few problems with cars, it is impossible to get every car honda makes 100% perfect. I would have gladly bought another honda had it not been for lack of customer service.

1st-Took car in for simple oil change, the tech crashed the car (his fault) I was mad, but I can understand. They paid for it to be fixed at the dealer, roughly $5,500 in damage.

2nd-I took it in for tranny issue- They tell me they can't find anything repeated times.

I took it to a independent shop for inspection and they even mentioned hard shifts. But no matter how many times I bring it in they refuse to find anything.

I paid over 28k for this car with the extened warranty-$900 which apprently doesn't do crap even when your still under the factory bumper to bumper.

General comments?

I traded the car in on a new altima which hasn't had a problem yet. Iam sure I would still have my accord had the dealer acted differently. Other than those issues the car was wonderful.

The transmission issue may have been caused by the crash at the dealer. If there was damage to the front axles it very well could have affected the transmission. Sounds like you were indeed cursed with a very inept dealership. Best of luck with the Altima!
