Car left my wife stranded after first three weeks; you guessed it, still nothing wrong.
Headliner bubbled off.
Alternator went out.
Dual A/C stopped working, dealer cannot fix???
Extreme rattles in all doors.
The first time the car broke down, we had only owned it for three days. We towed it to the nearest Honda dealer and they didn't want to fix it because we did not buy it from them. By the way, it is a certified used car, whatever that means. Finally they said the would check it out, and found nothing. Apparently cars these days are OK if they stop working in the middle of the highway.
The next time it stopped working was at my wife's work, so I drove down there and could not get it to start. I called the dealer I had bought it from and told them I wanted my F-150 back that I had traded for. They told me I have already been sold. Later I found out that was a lie. They couldn't find anything wrong, but did replace the alternator and battery.
Since we have owned the car I have have more problems with this Honda, and more with the service from dealerships, than ever before on any car I have ever owned.
I wouldn't recommend buying an Accord after the 2003 up model. They are all made in the U.S. and are not likely to last as long as a Japanese Accord. My friend has a 1999 Accord and has had no problems with it.
