Where do I begin? I had the car for a year and only got 120,000 miles out of it! What a waste of my money!
I drive 4,000 miles per week, and after 42,000 miles the leather started to rip, oil started to leak, and at 90,000 miles, the fan would sometimes not engage. That is just the beginning.
I spent 9,000 dollars in the first 30,000 miles. I had a loner for 4 weeks, and Honda wouldn't budge on warranty fixes. I spent so much money on that car, by the time I traded it in, I only had a $13,000 budget. I bought a Kia Spectra. At 250 miles, the master cylinder needed to be replaced. Kia's spectacular warranty and excellent service fixed it. That was the only problem I had with it. Had it just short of 3 years and put on over 625,000 miles.
I currently own a 2007 Kia Optima with just over 200,000 miles. Leather is perfect. Only problem so far was the timing chain broke at 7,000 miles. Kia's wonderful warranty kicked in again, and they replaced the engine! I will never buy anything else again.
Honda... why do they waste their time?
The engine had exceptional power. I still feel that my Optima's 4 cyl is nicer.
The trans was pretty smooth shifting.
Seats were extremely uncomfortable.
Considering that Accords are now manufactured here in the U.S., you can say bye-bye to quality and dependability. Honda of Japan decided to forego their reputation by allowing outsourcing. Sorry about your car.
