2007 Honda Accord is a worst car I've ever owned. End of lifecycle and clearance pricing resulted in so many shortcuts and problems I never encountered even in my '99 Eagle Premier.
Honda and Toyota cut corners right and left: my car required new brakes in the first 2K miles, it rattles, gaps in hard plastic interior are horrible, paint chips everywhere and handling is subpar.
I have a top of the line EXL-V6 and if you compare it to regular LX you can see all the garbage uncovered! I will never buy Honda again!
Cabin is roomy, but backseat is very uncomfortable. Seatback doesn't fold 60/40 as all normal cars do. Leather is cheap and back and side surfaces are vinyl.
Not much of the car for $28700 MSRP!
I'm sorry, I just had a similar experience with the same car. The sad thing is that I actually considered buying the 2008 model in place! I didn't, when I actually looked at it and saw how hideous it is. I dumped this thing off for a 2009 Chrysler 300C. With the whole bailout thing, I got a stellar deal. I've had Hondas in the past and have never had so many problems. I know that I'll get grief for buying a Chrysler, but the 300 is by far more solid than the Accord. People really need to for-go the ad hype. It's not what it's made up to be. Thanks for being honest.
