1984 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"This car is fun and reliable!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver's door sags.
Small rip in driver's seat.
A/C and cruise control not working.
Replaced front driver side hub and bearings.
Crankshaft pulley came loose, but put the bolt and washer back in and re-torqued it.
Not pretty.
General comments?
I paid $600.00 for this car in May of last year.
When I purchased the car, the driver's door was sagging, there was a rip in the driver's seat, the A/C and cruise control didn't work, and the wheel bearings needed replaced.
Tuned it up and changed the oil, then put it through D.E.Q. (which it passed). The car is 25 years old and now exempt. Great economical car that is fun to drive. Not the quickest car, but it has been reliable. Starts right up every time. Needs a little cosmetic work.
