1981 Honda Accord Hatchback review from North America
"A Japanese classic that I like!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Normal maintenance. I did change the front calipers. Hard to start when the engine is between cold and hot. Parts are now hard to get!
3 speed tranny is the worst part of the car. Dependable, but is shifting hard sometime and the engines rev pretty high on highway (4000 rpm at 60 miles/hour). O/d is missing :)
General comments?
This car has been well pampered and garage kept. Has not rust at all since it's been undercoated many times. Majors components are working fine and the car is dependable. Now considered as a collector car, I used it only in nice Summer days. Low miles: 65 000.
