1989 Honda Accord SE-i review from North America
"Won't let you down"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car has had about every minor problem a car can possibly have.
In no particular order, I have had the following work done/problems: new tires, front brakes were badly warped, front springs, ball joints, CV boots, complete engine tune up, alternator, fuel injectors, transmission is getting weak, fuse box and headlight wiring, stereo system is destroyed (partially my fault).
I believe the car would have been much better had the previous owner taken better care of it.
General comments?
Even with all the problems, the car has never let me down or stranded me. It starts right up every time.
Performance is lazy at best, but the car is a very comfortable cruiser once it gets to highway speeds.
