1989 Honda Accord sei review from North America
"This car won't die"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Severe rust on rear quarter panels.
Suspension is in bad shape.
Replaced distributor at 300 000kms.
Replaced original clutch at 280000kms.
Air conditioning issues.
Fuel sensor is faulty and causes a hot start problem.
General comments?
This is an excellent car.
Despite the rust issues I have been driving this car for 14 years now and it has never let me down. I often see much newer cars broken down on the side of the highway during my daily commute and thank my lucky stars for his vehicle.
The engine and transmission are still in perfect working condition.
The engine is quieter than my friend's 2001 Malibu.
