1992 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"A reliable car that holds its value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The idle on the car is very rough despite an extensive tune-up. I have learned to live with it though.
A/C cuts out on long trips (more than 2 hours of constant driving). It has also started working intermittently the past couple of weeks. Although, when it does work the temperature is very cold.
Like most other Accords of this generation, the transmission shifts very rough. I used an additive and it seemed to help somewhat, but just for a few months.
The shift handle is difficult to get out or Park and into gear sometimes.
General comments?
Other than the above comments, I have been very happy with the car.
I have changed the timing belt once and the only thing that has gone wrong that has left me stranded was the water pump going out.
The interior is in very good condition for its age and the paint has held up very well (no rust or discoloration).
