General comments?
Let me start by saying I love this car. I have delivered pizza in this car for about 4 years, driving between 100-300 miles per day.
The repairs above may look like a lot, but to be fair to the car, I haven't been the best owner. I only changed the oil about every 15,000-20,000 miles, never replaced the timing belt, and only replaced the air filter once. I worked it like a mule, every day I have owned it, and it has always been ready for more.
My lack of maintenance resulted in a gummed up engine that caused the camshaft to seize and the engine was ruined. This has also caused the failure of 2 radiators and both cooling fans as the car was trying to deal with all the extra heat of the sludged engine. But, honestly... until the day it stopped running, I had no idea anything was even wrong with it... it still ran great!
I guess maybe you CAN kill a Honda, but you have to try REALLY hard!
I paid $6000 for this car, and have put probably $2000 into it, including the new engine.
Here's to another 250,000 miles!
