This car is awesome. Bought it for $900, and it is incredible. Never replaced clutch or had any major problems with it. It still has enough power to burn out, and the assisted variable power steering is also very technologically advanced for an 86. One bad thing- 86 was the first year Accords had Electronic Fuel Injection, so the engine has a few rough edges, so examine carefully.

You said 1985 was the first year for Accords fuel injected. I have a carbeurated 1985 Sedan. But I believe the 1985 Se-i has fuel injection.

Hi my name is Dave and a friend of mine recently was given an '85 accord with carburetor.I'm curious if you know anywhere I can get a new or refurbished carb for him.I' trying to help restore it with him ant the carb is pretty much all that needs work asight from a few vacuum lines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
