1996 Honda Accord Special Edition review from North America
"Good all around"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really went bad with this car. After I got this car I replaced the 4 tires, timing belt. I kept the original water pump since the dealer told me they spotted no leaking. Generally they are routine maintainance.
General comments?
This car is Excellent! The 2.2L engine delivers enough power for the mid-size sedan, The handle is good. Front seats are spacious, back seat space are OK. Engine is a little noisy, but I was told that's the way Honda designs their engine. The trans is not as smooth as a Toyota, I can clearly feel it change gears.
The trunk space is good, but the trunk lid is not well designed so sometimes I cannot fit in some big stuffs because of the narrow entrance.
The air conditioner is not powerful enough. Though is not a big problem for me.
I noticed that the starting time became longer when the fuel level went low maybe the fuel pump is worn.
