1995 Honda Accord LX review from UK and Ireland
"Modest, but reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front two windows roll up very slowly. This is a known problem with Accords in this generation. I had to add silicone lubricant to the window rails and it helps, but in order to maintain the faster response you would have to do it every year.
General comments?
The car is an average car in many ways, but the reliability of the engine is this car's best mark. I have had no real problems with this engine. I had routine oil changes from 3K to 4K ever since I got the car from my mother at ~50K and it runs strong as it did when I got it.
My only real gripe about this car is the power. Since the LX only comes with 130-135 hp it isn't very fast, but good enough to merge into traffic and commute. If you want a bit more power you go for the V-6 version.
