1991 Honda Accord EX-R review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the muffler and flex pipe shortly after purchase. The car had been sitting so these had rotted out.
Replaced timing belt and balance shafts belt at 86,000km.
Replaced right-hand drive-axle at 106,000km due to a torn steering knuckle boot. Will replace the left-hand one as well because the outer boot is leaking and almost worn through.
General comments?
This car is the best vehicle I have owned. It gets between 38 and 44 mpg on the highway and is exceptionally comfortable and roomy for a coupe. The visibility is very good and the car remains in style even though it is 13 years old.
