1992 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"A great car for its age"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sensor in catalytic converter shut the car down without warning, left me stranded, and I had to pay $250 to have it repaired. The headlight bulbs keep burning out when I use a bulb that produces a very high quality light. The electric windows on the drivers side both front and rear suddenly stopped working and when I found out what it will cost to repair them, I decided I'll not fix them. I had to have the axles replaced after I had owned the car for about a year.
General comments?
I can't begin to tell anyone who will listen how fast this car can be, especially after I had the axles replaced. I can still beat my girlfriends 2003 accord off the line, but she catches me before I can reach the quarter mile mark. The exterior paint has held up very well. It doesn't take much wax to keep it looking very good. The way this car can go from 55mph to over 110mph can really impress anyone who is watching.
