1999 Honda Accord V-6 review from North America
"A high performance bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Almost nothing.
Altenator at 100,000 miles.
A $15 altenator barcket at 100,000 miles.
Basic une up's cost a lot at my dealer, find a small local certified shop to save money.
General comments?
This is a great car. Driven daily on a 60 mile commute. Alomst, but never left me stranded. This car does a quarter-mile in 15.8 about the same as a V-6 Camaro. I've beat many tricked out civic's, muscle cars, and many Mustangs. By far the most dependable vehicle I've ever owned. I wish it came manual, but the V-6 doesn't. Leather is a plus. Get a coupe they look better. The car will easily do 140 is given time. It is very fast in the 60 to 100 range. V-tech is a great thing, red line is 6,500 RPM. Power comes at about 3500 RPM's. buy one a good value for the money. Plus it is made in Ohio. Good old U S Of A!!!
