1998 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"Why do the seats feel like sitting on a cheap sofa?!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New battery: 11,000 miles

General comments?
I thought I wanted to dump my Accord for a Cadillac Seville STS… Taking the scenic route, I found my way to this site, and well, I think I’ll hang tight with my Honda for a while longer. I bought the 1998 LX new and have driven it for 8 years and 46,000 uneventful miles. Think I forgot why I selected this car in the first place: its solid dependability. After reading numerous reviews of the Caddy’s and of the Honda’s, I think I’ve got my head screwed back on straight! My last car was a Buick and as much as I loved it, the repair bills were high, frequent, and caused me much stress. Maybe if the Accord’s driver’s seat weren’t so uncomfortable…
